Homeschool Partnership Program

At Torrington Christian Academy, we desire to work with families who want to continue to homeschool their children, but also want some of the advantages and opportunities available within a school environment. Our goal is for our homeschool students and families to become part of the Torrington Christian Academy community  as we support their academic endeavors.

We welcome homeschool families, 6th through 12th grade, who are seeking to provide their child with the best possible combination of Homeschool and Christian school education.

Learn about our Homeschool Programs below and then fill out an our Admissions Inquiry Form to take the next step in partnering with Torrington Christian Academy for your child’s homeschool education.

NOTE: We no longer offer homeschool classes for K-5th grade students due to the significant increase in full-time students. Registration is CLOSED for the 23-24 term. For the 24-25 term, we anticipate limited openings for extracurricular and academic class options, but will open up registration mid-August (offering any open seats not filled by full-time students to homeschoolers). If you have an interest, we would love the opportunity to connect further via phone/email &/or meet for a school tour and discuss what opportunities we may have available to your family!

Homeschool Parent

“Our Heavenly Father has been so good to us. He has blessed our Homeschooling program at home and even led us to TCA’s homeschool program, which added so much more to our homeschool experience. I am a mother of a gifted learner, and I can’t be thankful enough for the opportunity to have homeschooled my child and having TCA contribute to my child’s education. TCA offers a quality education that includes being grounded in Christian values. TCA has been a blessing to us, having been supportive and dedicated to the growth of every student.”

Upper School Curriculum

Torrington Christian Academy provides opportunities for high school students in the 9th-12th grades to take college-level courses. Simultaneously, students earn credit toward high school completion as well as college credits toward a future college degree. The more classes students take, the further ahead they will be for college. For those who desire to do so: students can successfully complete either an Associate Degree or a Bachelors degree alongside their High School Diploma! Dual Enrollment courses are different than AP courses as no AP test is required at the end of the class; instead, students receive college credit if they pass the course.
